Our Story
Jackrabbit is a one-man show, owned and operated by Steve Shortt out of Clinton Ontario. We service Central Huron and surrounding communities, the heart of Huron! We provide a wide range of Renovations and Handyman services, along with painting and flooring installation. We also look for ways to be of service to our community through volunteering time, skills or labour.
Our Drive
Jackrabbit Renovations was created after years of acquiring skills across many professions, all across Canada. Entrepreneurship has been in my blood since I was a boy, and I’ve been waiting for the right time to build something of my own. There are two things that I am passionate about; building relationships wherever I go, and figuring out how to fix things and solve problems. When my son was born in 2021, I had the motivation I needed to kick start my future and make a lasting impact on my community.
